Plain terms for three audiences: operators who subscribe, captains who work events, and event clients who accept, sign, and pay through a tokened portal link. The one usage cost — a ~1% payment fee capped at $25 per transaction — is disclosed here and on every charge.
The service
SavorBanquet is private-events and catering software operated by Heard Management LLC: an operator dashboard, a captain mobile app, and a tokened client portal. Operators subscribe per venue at the published price; the captain app is free to install; clients never need an account.
Operator terms
Billing is a monthly Stripe subscription at the price published on the pricing page when you signed up — that price is locked for your account. No setup fee, no long-term contract; cancel anytime and your data remains exportable for 90 days. You are responsible for the accuracy of your menus, prices, contracts, and tax configuration, and for the legal relationship with your event clients — SavorBanquet is the tool, not a party to your events.
AI drafting
AI drafts proposals, BEOs, and follow-up emails from your event records and catalog. Drafts are always reviewed and sent by a human on your team; the service never contacts your clients autonomously. You are responsible for reviewing drafts before sending.
Client-portal terms
Event clients reach their proposal, contract, invoice, and event page through an unguessable tokened link — no login. Before signing or paying, the client verifies with a one-time code emailed to the address on the event. By typing their name and signing, the client agrees the electronic signature is binding, and an audit record (name, email, IP, device, timestamps) is attached to the agreement. The contract itself is between the client and the venue.
Payments + the disclosed fee
Client payments through the portal are processed by Stripe. A ~1% Savor payment fee, capped at $25 per transaction, applies to portal payments and is visible on the charge — never a hidden markup. Stripe's processing fees pass through. Refunds are recorded as append-only ledger entries by the venue; disputes are between the client and the venue, with the ledger and audit trail available to both.
Records
Signed contracts, signature audit trails, payment ledgers, and published BEO snapshots are append-only. Neither operators nor SavorBanquet edit executed legal records; corrections happen by amendment or superseding record.
Acceptable use
No unlawful events, no misrepresentation of prices or terms to clients, no attempts to access another tenant's data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its clients.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heard Management LLC's liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for the outcome of your events or your agreements with your clients.
Changes
Version-stamped; material changes are notified in the app and by email before they apply.
